Role Overview
As an Equipment Operator, your core responsibility is to safely sort, load, unload, and move baggage, cargo, mail, and other items to and from aircraft. This includes the operation of Ground Service Equipment (GSE) and ensuring all tasks are completed in line with operational safety and compliance procedures.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
Operate various Ground Support Equipment (GSE) including tugs, dollies, belt loaders, and tractors after receiving formal training.
Perform pre-use inspections of equipment to ensure safe operation and report any mechanical issues or abnormalities immediately.
Handle the physical loading and unloading of cargo and baggage efficiently and safely.
