Junior Associate Job Vacancies in State Bank of India

State Bank of India has published a notification for the post of Junior Associate (Customer Support and Sales). This is a post in the clerical cadre. The opportunity is for graduates. There are 6589 vacancies (Regular-5180, Bablog-1409). There are 272 vacancies in Kerala (Regular-247, Bablog-25). The vacancies in Kerala are under Thiruvananthapuram circle.

The preliminary examination for the selection will be held in September 2025 and the main examination in November. There will be 11 examination centers in different districts of Kerala. Those selected will not be allowed to move to another state or circle.

Pay scale: Rs. 24050-64480

Qualification: Degree/equivalent in any discipline from a recognized university. Final year/semester students can also apply if they can produce a document of passing by December 31, 2025.

Which state

  • Applicant should know the local language of that state.
  • Age: 20-28 years as on April 1, 2025. Applicants should not have been born before 02.04.1997 or after 01.04.2005 (both dates inclusive)
  • ‌In the upper age limit, there is a relaxation of five years for SC and ST categories and three years for OBC categories.

The age relaxation for differently abled candidates is General – 10 years, OBC – 13 years, SC, ST – 15 years. Widows and unmarried divorcees can apply up to 35 years (OBC – up to 38 years, SC, ST – up to 40 years). Ex-servicemen will have statutory age relaxation.

Age relaxation is also allowed for those who have done apprenticeship in SBI (see notification for conditions).

Application fee: Rs. 750. The fee should be paid online through debit card/ credit card/ internet banking systems (fee is not applicable for SC, ST and differently abled candidates).

The application should be accompanied by a scanned photograph, signature, left hand fingerprint and a self-written statement in the format prescribed in the notification.
