Role Overview
As a Logistics Supervisor, you will oversee daily operational activities across AMZL and FC functions, ensuring that workflows remain efficient, safe, and customer-focused. You will work closely with Operations Supervisors, Operations Assistants, Delivery Service Providers, and frontline associates to ensure smooth execution of daily plans.

Key Responsibilities
The Logistics Supervisor role covers a wide range of leadership and operational responsibilities:
Operational Leadership
Manage daily logistics and fulfilment activities across AMZL and FC operations
Allocate labor efficiently, conduct team briefings, and assign tasks to teams of 30–40 associates
Ensure strict compliance with safety, quality, and operational procedures
Team Management and Development
Lead, coach, and develop high-performing teams
Promote a positive work culture centered on engagement, accountability, and safety
Ensure adherence to Amazon’s health and safety standards at all times
Performance and Metrics Management
Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) closely
Analyze operational data to identify root causes of performance gaps
Implement corrective actions and drive continuous improvement initiatives
Process Improvement and Problem Solving
Identify opportunities to streamline workflows and improve efficiency
Apply analytical thinking and “Dive Deep” problem-solving methodologies
Act as a subject matter expert on core operational processes
Communication and Collaboration
Communicate daily metrics, risks, and exceptions clearly to stakeholders
Collaborate with cross-functional and external partners to resolve challenges
Influence decision-making through clear, data-driven communication
Technology and Inventory Management
Utilize operational systems, software, and hardware tools effectively
Support system rollouts and new process implementations
Maintain accurate inventory records within fulfilment centers
