About the Role
Emirates Group, one of the world’s most respected aviation brands, is hiring a Security Coordinator for the Passport & Visa Verification Unit. This role is shift-based and located at Dubai International Airport (DXB) or Dubai World Central (DWC). You will be responsible for supporting operational security functions, ensuring compliance with airline safety policies, and maintaining international aviation security standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Support daily security operations with data analysis, logistics, rosters, and administrative tasks.
- Conduct staff performance reviews and implement training and development initiatives.
- Maintain up-to-date manuals, records, and documents for audits and inspections.
- Assist in reviewing standard operating procedures and contracts related to security operations.
- Investigate cargo discrepancies and report irregularities.
- Carry out random and routine audits of cargo handling (airside and landside) to ensure compliance.
- Prepare detailed reports for management to safeguard passengers, aircraft, staff, and company assets.
- Oversee the handling of lost-and-found cases and recommend process improvements.
Eligibility Criteria
- Minimum 12 years of schooling or equivalent qualification.
- At least 3 years of professional experience in security-related roles.
Preferred Skills & Experience
- Background in aviation security supervision and root cause analysis.
- Strong report writing and computer literacy skills.
- Experience in fraud prevention, risk assessment, and investigations is advantageous.
